Anna Karr Shannon
Anna Karr has been dancing since the age of two, and started competing at the age of six. She began training competitively in jazz, contemporary, ballet/pointe, hip hop, and tap. Throughout her competitive dance career she earned many overall awards and scholarships from various competitions and conventions. She has taken classes under many credible choreographers and coaches throughout her training. Anna Karr was also a part of the nationally ranked Oak Grove Golden Spirits Dance Team throughout high school. Soon after, she became a part of Universal Dance Association Staff where she travels to train and work with dance teams around the country. Anna Karr is extremely grateful to be a part of OSPA staff and watch her students grow with her.
Morgan Banks
Morgan joined the OSPA faculty in 2019 while attending Ole Miss. She also teaches for GSPA and is the OSPA Dance program assistant instructor for Regents School of Oxford. Morgan danced competitively at GSPA for 13 years where she won multiple national titles. While attending college, Morgan coached 98 Delta Gamma members for the yearly CASA Encore competition, in which the sorority placed first and raised $40,000 for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Lafayette County. Her training includes jazz, contemporary, musical theater, hip hop, and tumbling.
Katie Brewer
Katie began dancing at the age of five and started competing shortly thereafter. She is trained in jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip-hop, acro, and ballet/pointe. Katie has earned various awards during her time competing. Additionally, she’s attended conventions, masterclasses, dance clinics, and worked with notable choreographers. She performed with the Moscow Ballet as a Russian Variation dancer in the Nutcracker. Katie was also a member of the Oxford High School Chargerettes, where she served as captain for her fourth year, and earned two state championships in Small Varsity Pom and Small Varsity Gameday. After high school, Katie joined the Northwest Community College Dance Team. She competed at the Universal Dance Association (UDA) College Nationals for two years, earning back-to-back Open Hip-Hop championships and two bronze medals for her team’s Open Gameday performances. She served as captain her sophomore year. She enjoys choreographing routines and has choreographed at the high school and collegiate levels. Katie is currently attending Ole Miss, majoring in Elementary Education. She loves sharing her passion for dance with others. Katie is excited to be teaching at OSPA!
Madeline Walrond
Madeline grew up in Charleston, South Carolina and began dancing at the age of 3, and started dancing competitively at the age of 6. While competing she earned many regional and national overall and title awards. She danced on her high school dance team that also won many awards. She has choreographed at her former studio and middle school dance teams in Charleston. After moving to Oxford she began teaching while attending Ole Miss studying elementary education. She is so happy to be teaching with OSPA and hopes to share her love for dance with all her students!
Kaitlyn Johnson
Kaitlyn is a native of Oxford and is a Junior at Ole Miss majoring in Biology with a minor in Exercise Science. Kaitlyn began dancing at OSPA in 2013. She was later on the competition team, Prestige Dance Company, for 7 years where she competed and won numerous awards in jazz, lyrical, & hip hop. Since her graduation from Lafayette High School in 2023, she has continued as a teacher at OSPA where she has taught ballet, tap, jazz and lyrical.
Abby Williams
Abby has been on staff at Oxford School of Performing Arts since 2020. She also teaches at Grenada School of Performing Arts and is the OSPA Dance program instructor for Regents School of Oxford. Abby started dancing at the age of 3 at GSPA and started competing for Prestige Dance Company at the age of 6. She was a two time National Champion for her group number and duet number in 2018 for KAR Dance. Her training includes Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theater and Hip Hop. Abby has also competed in pageants her whole life. Including Miss Mississippi’s Outstanding Teen in 2019 (top 15). She also had the privilege of being chosen as a featured entertainer for the 2021 Miss Mississippi Pageant. In the past years of teaching, she has received choreography awards and entertainment awards at several competitions.
Joslin Williams
Joslin is an Oxford native who began dancing at the age of three. At nine, she joined her studio’s competitive dance team and competed across the southeastern region until she graduated from high school. The duos and group dances she was a member of consistently won first place and overall awards. While at her studio, she also taught ballet, tap, and jazz to 3- and 4-year-olds. As a high school senior, she choreographed her group's jazz and hip hop routines. Joslin is trained in all genres of dance, but tap is her specialty. She graduated from Mississippi State University where she choreographed and performed in her sorority’s dances each year for the Limelight fundraiser. Joslin is excited for this opportunity to be teaching once again!
Haley Eifling
Haley opened OSPA/Prestige Dance Company in Oxford in 2012. Her love of dance began at the age of three where she studied and performed with the Barbara Koehler Studio in Memphis, TN for 16 years. She also studied and taught dance at The Academy of Dance in Grenada, MS for 10 years. She was selected as a Miss Mississippi Dancer in 1991 and 1992 where she was under the direction of choreographer, Mallory Graham. Haley studied vocal performance and entertained with the Bob Westbrook Entertainment Agency in Memphis, TN for 21 years. She studied modeling at Patricia Stevens Modeling School in Memphis, Jo-Susan Modeling Agency in Nashville and with Mary-Francis Flood of Leland for several years. She competed for over 20 years in numerous local, state, and national pageants such as Miss Mississippi Teen USA and Miss Mississippi. Haley was a member of the University of Mississippi Women’s Choir and obtained degress in music and marketing from the University of Mississippi in 2000.
Kenley Floyd
Kenley has been dancing since she was 8 years old. She danced competitively at Prestige for 6 years. Kenley also choreographed halftime performances for her school starting at 13 and continued until she graduated at 18. She began teaching lyrical and jazz after she graduated in 2023. Kenley has a passion for teaching and loves to watch her students grow and learn each year!
